My core belief is that improving our food system is at the heart of improving all the big hairy problems; poverty, environment, health, education and social mobility. I've spent lots of time in kitchens both professionally and personally, and was looking for a way to continue to contribute to improving the food system in a hands-on way.

I love that FEAST helps to empower people to eat healthily on a budget through its education programmes, and that it puts nutrition at the heart of everything it does.

I can normally be found dipping in cold water at Parliament Hill Lido, or crafting extreme fancy dress costumes for my two small daughters."
