Meals
We’ve hit a recipe for success.
Across London, we provide meal services for people experiencing homelessness, older people, refugees, asylum seekers and people affected by mental health challenges. FEAST works with partners in the community across 15 sites for meal services.
Community Meals
In some sites we have communal dining, where everyone cooks and eats together as equals. In temporary homeless accommodation, mental health day centres and community centres, we support people experiencing homelessness, people affected by mental health challenges and older people by providing nutritious and delicious meals.
Creating friendly, welcoming, inclusive spaces, we strengthen emotional wellbeing through conversations and socialisation and provide opportunities to learn basic cooking skills through participation in meal preparation. This builds community and improves a sense of belonging.

Barnes House Post Cards
These are a series of postcards with a message from our many service users sharing their experiences from the Barnes House community meals. Each message reflects the importance of access to nutritious food, highlighting it’s impact on wellbeing, dignity, and everyday life. Together, they offer a personal insight into food insecurity and the role FEAST With Us plays in supporting healthier, more connected communities.
We also ...
- Save thousands of kilos of food from going to landfill by giving it new life in our nutritious meals.
- Cook on average 2300 meals a month for those who need them.
- Deliver on average 325 community meals and 275 delivered meals per week to local shelters, hostels and community spaces.
