How or why did you get involved in FEAST?
FEAST is doing vital work in an area that is, unfortunately, seeing rapidly increasing need. I'm also a strong believer in leading with data and evidence, and FEAST shares that value.
Anything FEAST is doing that you are particularly passionate about
I really appreciate the policy and systems change FEAST is aiming for, its community led model, and holistic approach. Food insecurity rarely shows up as a singular issue, so the response shouldn't be singular either.
I also appreciate FEAST's commitment to inclusivity. I've specialised in intersectionality, and gender and disability inclusion, so working somewhere these factors are thought about and impact is delivered equally is a must for me.
Hobbies and interests outside of work
Outside of work, you'll usually find me on my yoga mat, planning my next adventure to some far-flung place, admiring my few surviving plants, or with my head in a book.
I also love historical and political documentaries, films, live music, and of course, good food from around the world! I try to keep my French skills ticking over, as I spent 4 years living in Paris and grew attached to the country, its culture and history.
