How/why did you get involved in FEAST?
I’ve been working in various community spaces for the last couple of years within the wellness sector working with marginalised and vulnerable groups. In those years I’ve developed a passion for doing good and felt a real sense of joy from seeing people come together, establish their place within their community and feel empowered with the tools needed to nourish and nurture their wellbeing. I’ve also done a lot of volunteering and felt that FEAST shared my interests in supporting a dedicated network of volunteers, working within community spaces and empowering people to eat well and live better!
Anything FEAST is doing that you are particularly passionate about?
The work FEAST is doing all round to combat food poverty, tackle food waste and bring people together with the intention of empowering individuals and supporting their wellbeing is just so inspiring and needed, now more than ever. I am thrilled to play a small part in keeping that work going by supporting our wonderful volunteers who keep us able to do what we do.
Hobbies and interests outside of work?
I am a Yoga Teacher so I love to teach and share the practice of yoga, if I’m not teaching, I’ll be practicing and if I’m not practicing, I’ll most likely be reading or listening to a podcast...about yoga! Beyond that though I love to travel, be immersed in nature and of course enjoy feasts with family and friends!
